About Us

Our Story

Dog Styles Grooming was born from our longtime passion for dogs. While dog grooming itself is a new venture for our family, we have been dog breeders for generations. Our family’s patriarch grew up in a breeding family, so it seemed natural to continue when we started out on our own in 2000.

Over the years we have cultivated a home in which dogs have been central to our happiness. We had a small hobby breeding program until 2010. Fast forward to 2017, we began fostering and there just were not enough fur babies to go around. Each of my children longed for a dog of their own as they had in their bio home, what was a new foster mom to do? We let each child pick out a new baby of their own and, unknowingly, the seeds were sewn. Two years later we decided to allow the kids to whelp a litter and the rest is history. These kids have the biggest heart.

I am so proud of the work they do with our program. My oldest daughter has attended Nash Academy of Animal Arts in Lexington Ky and graduated with a professional dog and cat grooming certification. So in addition to grooming our own dogs and the dogs of our friends and family for the last year, she will be the head groomer of Dog Styles Grooming, Breeding & Boarding in Greensburg Ky. I am so excited to watch her in this new role as she excels and trains her sisters to follow in her footsteps.
